LOS ANGELES — Isaiah Collier, Boogie Ellis and Kobe Johnson all scored over 20 points for USC men's basketball as the Trojans defeated Stanford 93-79 at Galen Center on Saturday.
Collier finished with 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting with four rebounds and three assists. Ellis scored 22 and went 6-of-8 from the 3-point line with five boards, four dimes and three steals. Johnson had 21 with five assists, five rebounds and five steals.
The Trojans had their best 3-point shooting game of the season and finished 14-of-25 (56 percent) from the perimeter. It was USC's third straight game with over 10 3-pointers.
With Bronny James' father, future Basketball Hall of Famer LeBron, attending his second game at Galen Center, USC battled with Stanford (7-7, 2-2 Pac-12) for the majority of the afternoon. After enduring four early 3-pointers from the Cardinal, Ellis' pair of triples helped the Trojans go on a 13-3 run to build their lead.
DJ Rodman came alive in the second half, hitting two key 3-pointers that powered a 16-5 run early in the second half.
Stanford scored 10 unanswered points that tied the game at 61 with 9:46 remaining. Collier, Ellis and Johnson took over from that point, combining for 28 of the Trojans' final 32 points of the game to pull USC away from Stanford.
