USC Men's Basketball Adds Forward Brandon Gardner To 2023-24 Team

Freshman named "Mr. Basketball" in New York
LOS ANGELES-- The USC men's basketball program has added forward Brandon Gardner to its 2023-24 team, it was announced by USC men's basketball head coach Andy Enfield today (June 27). The addition of Gardner has pushed USC's recruiting class to No. 4 in the country according to On3.com.
The 6-8, 210-pound freshman forward was named the Basketball Coaches Association of New York Inc.'s "Mr. Basketball" as he averaged 12 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks per game as a senior at Christ the King High in New York City. He was originally committed to St. John's, but opened up his recruiting after the Red Storm made a coaching change. The athletic forward is a strong defender and was ranked as the No. 77 overall recruit by Rivals.com.
