Mobley, the consensus No. 1 rated overall recruit from Rancho Christian High School in Temecula, officially signed his National Letter of Intent with the Trojans on Nov. 13. He will play in the McDonald's Boys All-American Game in Houston, Texas, on April 1.
Mobley is the third USC signee in four years to be named a McDonald's All-American, joining his brother Isaiah Mobley (2019) and Chuck O'Bannon Jr (2017).
Evan Mobley, a 7-0, 210-pound forward, is averaging 19.0 points, 10.6 rebounds and 3.6 blocks through eight games in his senior season with Rancho Christian.

He won gold medals representing USA Basketball at the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup and the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup. He was named as a participant for the 2019 USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team October minicamp and participated in the 2019 USA Men's Junior National Team Next Generation minicamp at the NCAA Men's Final Four.
The Mobley brothers and current Trojan Onyeka Okongwu led the Compton Magic club team to the prestigious 2018 Adidas Gauntlet Championship before earning the "mythical AAU national championship" later that summer in Las Vegas, Nev.
