Senior Justin Suh and sophomore Kaito Onishi, USC's leaders in stroke average this season and keys to the Trojans' three wins, were named to the 2019 All-Pac-12 first team, the conference announced on Wednesday (May 1).
In addition, sophomore Issei Tanabe was tabbed an All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection while freshman Charlie Reiter earned All-Pac-12 Freshman honorable mention notice.
Suh, the top-ranked amateur in the world and the 2018 Pac-12 Player of the Year, earned his third consecutive conference first-team honor while Onishi collected his first such honor.
Suh leads the Trojans in stroke average at 68.97 with 19 rounds in the 60s. In addition to his two wins, he has six overall top 4 finishes, eight top 10 results and 10 top 15 efforts in as many starts this season. Suh has 26 rounds of par or better in 31 attempts this year.
Onishi, the 2018 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, is second on the squad in both stroke average (70.84) and rounds in the 60s (13). He has five top 10 results this year, including three in the top 5, and has 22 rounds of par or better.
Tanabe is third on the team in both stroke average (71.55) and rounds in the 60s (12). He has a pair of top 4 finishes and four inside the top 15, six in the top 25.
Reiter has a stroke average of 73.39 with one top 10 and five finishes inside the top 32. He has four rounds in the 60s and has started eight times this season.
