Boatwright Named First Team All-Pac-12, Rakocevic Honorable Mention

USC senior forward Bennie Boatwright was named to the 2018-19 All-Pac-12 first team and junior forward Nick Rakocevic was named honorable mention as voted on by league head coaches, it was announced today (March 11).
The 6-10 Boatwright from Mission Hills, Calif. has averaged 18.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in 29 games for the Trojans. Boatwright ranks third in scoring, 12th in rebounding, second in three-pointers made (82), third in three-point field goal percentage (43.4 percent) and seventh in defensive rebounds per game (5.1).
Boatwright set a USC record and tied a Pac-12 record when he sank 10 three-point baskets at California on Feb. 16, tying the mark for most three-pointers in a game done three other times. Boatwright has made 235 career three-point baskets which is second on USC's all-time list and 10 behind school record-holder Elijah Stewart (245). Boatwright has also score 1,504 career points which ranks seventh on USC's all-time scoring list.
The 6-11 Chicago, Ill. native Rakocevic is averaging 14.9 points and a team-leading 9.3 rebounds, while playing in all 31 games for the Trojans. He currently ranks among the Pac-12's top 10 in six categories: rebounds (3rd), blocked shots (6th), field goal percentage (9th), scoring (10th), offensive rebounds (2nd) and defensive rebounds (4th). Rakocevic is tied for 23rd in the country in double-doubles with 14 and is fourth in the conference and is 34th in the country in rebounds per game.
Rakocevic's 289 rebounds this season rank 13th on USC's single-season list and his 646 career rebounds rank tied for 16th on USC's all-time rebounds list.
