The Women of Troy got 17 kills from junior Khalia Lanier in the victory
LOS ANGELES – The 12th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (12-4, 4-1 Pac-12) earned a 3-0 sweep (25-20, 25-18, 25-21) of Oregon State (10-7, 0-5) at Galen Center on Thursday, Oct. 4. It is the Trojans' sixth straight win over the Beavers.

- Jr. OH Khalia Lanier led all players with 17 kills (3e, 35att) and hit .400 to go with four digs and three service aces.
- Sr. libero Victoria Garrick led all players with 16 digs and climbed one more spot on USC's career ladder for digs. She passed three-time All-American OH Samantha Bricio (2012-15; 1,318 digs) and now has 1,328 to rank eighth all-time.
- So. OH Brooke Botkin scored 15 kills (6e, 38att, .237) to go with nine digs and a block.
- Fr. setter Raquel Lázaro produced her eighth double-double of the season with 35 assists and 10 digs to go with two blocks.
- Jr. MB Jasmine Gross collected seven kills (0e, 11att) and hit .636 with three blocks and two digs.
- For the Beavers, Maddie Goings led the offense with 12 kills (5e, 34att, .206) and had the lone OSU service ace. Grace Massey had 15 digs. Maddie Sheehan put up 28 assists with eight digs and three blocks.
- Oregon State led for much of the first set despite six ties. Down, 19-18, late in the frame, the Trojans mounted a big run to top the Beavers, 25-20, for the win. USC ended the first set with a .206 hitting rate with 11 kills on 34 swings.
- The Trojans were never threatened in the second set and rolled to a 25-18 win. The Beavers trailed by as many as eight points and closed to within four before USC responded for a 2-0 lead in the match.
- The teams went back and forth in the third with six more ties before the Trojans shut the door for a 25-21 win. USC scored 18 kills in the frame and hit .429 (3e, 35att).
- USC has two days' rest before its next match when it hosts No. 20 Oregon (9-5, 2-2 Pac-12) at Galen Center for a Sunday matinee (Oct. 7). The Trojans and the Ducks meet at 1 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on USC's Pac-12+ channel.
- USC improves to 54-9 all-time against Oregon State and earns its sixth straight win against the Beavers. OSU remains winless in matches played at Galen Center.
- The Trojans go to 5-0 at Galen Center this season and improved to 156-32 all-time in the arena.
- USC recorded its sixth 3-0 sweep of the season.
