USC's Gemelos Going for WUG Gold

USC guard Jacki Gemelos will join her United States teammates in a push for gold at the 2011 World University Games. The U.S. squad has been a powerhouse in WUG competition in Shenzen, China, most recently topping Australia 79-67 in the semifinals to move into the gold-medal match.
Gemelos and Team USA face undefeated Taiwan for gold tomorrow morning in China. The game will be streamed LIVE ONLINE HERE at 6:30 a.m. PT on Sunday (Aug. 21).
Gemelos has played in all five games with Team USA in China, topping out with a 10-point outing against Finland in the quarterfinals, also adding 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the win. Gemelos is set to return to Troy for her final season of action with the Women of Troy, returning as USC's third leading scorer in 2010-11.
