Tucson, Ariz. - The No. 17 USC men's golf team shot 282 (-6) on Sunday and are in second place after round one of the Arizona Invitational held at Tucson National.
USC is just three strokes back of team leader Arizona State (279). Arizona and Washington are tied for third at 284.
Two Trojans fired rounds in the 60s on Sunday: junior Nico Bollini shot 68 and junior Ben Hayes shot 69. Bollini is tied for third and Hayes is tied for fifth.
Senior Scott Oxandaboure shot 72, while freshman Joshua Wooding shot 73 and sophomore Taylor Wood shot 79.
The second round begins on Monday with the final round coming on Tuesday.
