2015: Slater appeared in three games as a sophomore... Collected five saves and allowed just four goals in her four periods of work... Had a career-high four saves in one period vs. Cal State Northridge.
2014: Slater appeared in seven games as a true freshman... Collected 12 saves and allowed just 10 goals in her nine periods of work... Topped out with two three-save outings.
High School: Slater played water polo at Wilson High in Long Beach… Was the starting goalie as a sophomore, junior and senior… Earned all-academic honors all four years… Named league Player of the Year as a senior… Selected to the Long Beach Telegram Dream Team… Graduated with over 500 hours of community service… Voted Top 25 Most Involved Senior Girls… An honor student… Played club for Huntington Beach Water Polo Club, Long Beach Shore and Trojan Water Polo Club.
Personal: Slater is majoring in law, history and culture… Parents are Dan and Janet, both of whom graduated from USC in the class of 1988… Has four younger siblings, Murphy, Kirby, Lily and Claire… Brother Murphy is a member of the USC men’s water polo team... Lists Cristiano Ronaldo as her biggest sports hero… Would like to one day visit Bora Bora and Australia… Born Jan. 12, 1995.
