2021: After helping the Netherlands qualify for the Tokyo Olympics, Maud Megens returned to USC to play her final season at USC... Helped USC win the 2021 NCAA Championship, scoring six goals in the final... Finished her USC career ranked No. 6 all-time in career scoring with 213 career goals... Named ACWPC National Player of the Year and MPSF Player of the Year... A First Team All-American... Named NCAA Tournament MVP and MPSF Tournament MVP... Was second on the team with 50 goals... 2018: Megens scored 37 goals as a sophomore... Scored in 12 games with nine multiple-goal outings... Set new career high with seven goals vs. Pacific on March 25... 2017: Megens was USC’s second leading scorer with 58 goals as a true freshman... Scored in 25 games with 20 multi-goal performances… Set career high with five goals against Santa Clara on Feb. 11 and against Princeton on March 23… Named a Second Team All-American... Also selected to the All-MPSF Second Team and MPSF All-Newcomer Team… Earned MPSF Newcomer of the Week honors twice… Scored four goals in the NCAA Tournament and was named to NCAA All-Tournament Second Team.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Officially named to the Netherlands' Olympic Team for Tokyo, Megens has been a member of the Dutch Senior National Team since 2013 and was a member of the Dutch Junior National Team for five years… Was the second leading scorer at the 2019 FINA World Championships with 20 goals... Named to Media All-Star Team at 2019 FINA World Championships... Was tied as top scorer at the 2019 FINA World League Super Final... Helped the Netherlands win the 2018 European Championship... Took silver at the 2014 European Championships and bronze at the FINA World League Championships in 2015… Also placed second in the 2015 World Championships and the 2016 European Championships...
