THIS SEASON: Gripping 156 career saves to rank eighth all-time among USC goalies, returning All-American Holly Parker enters her fourth season of competition at USC.
2020: In a season cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, Parker made 82 saves in 10 appearances in her redshirt junior season as USC was 12-1 overall when competition was cancelled... Earned All-America and All-MPSF Honorable Mention... Averaged 8.63 saves and 6.32 goals-against in 38 periods played... Recorded two 10-save outings to match her career high... Selected MPSF Player of the Week on Feb. 25 after helping USC to the BKI title.
2019: Parker averaged 8.2 saves and 4.3 goals-against per game in 13 appearances as a redshirt sophomore... Set career high with 10 saves vs. Fresno State on Jan. 19... Had five saves in a complete-game shutout of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Jan. 26... Saw time in the cage during the MPSF and NCAA tournaments.
2018: Parker redshirted the 2018 season.
2017: Parker averaged 6.91 saves and 2.91 goals-against in nine appearances as a freshman… Recorded a season-high five saves against Indiana on March 16… Made three saves against Michigan in the NCAA Tournament.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Parker competed for the United States at the 2019 World University Games... Was a member of the USA Cadet National Team in 2014.
HIGH SCHOOL: Parker was named league MVP as a senior out of Laguna Beach HS… Also was a two-time first team all-CIF selection and two-time all-league selection… Went undefeated as a junior in 2015 and led team to its second consecutive CIF DI title… Recorded 710 career saves and set a school record with 7 career shutouts... A scholar-athlete and member of the Principal’s Honor Roll… Also named a USA Water Polo Academic All-American from 2009-2015… Played club for SET.
PERSONAL: Parker has completed her undergraduate degree in communication and is pursuing a master’s in digital social media… Parents are Brian and Kim Parker… Has two siblings, Jack and Amelia…Mother Kim graduated from USC in 1987 and both of her grandfathers, Robert Thais and John Nelson, are USC alums… Father Brian played football at Occidental College… Favorite foods include sushi and burritos… Favorite movie is Blue Crush and favorite TV show is One Tree Hill… Lists Mia Hamm as her biggest sports hero… Hopes to visit the British Virgin Islands, Greek Islands, and travel around Europe in the future… Born on Aug. 18, 1997.
