Aleksandra “Ola” Gryka is a freshman middle blocker for the Women of Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL
Gryka attended Liceum Ogólnoksztalcace im. Marii Konopnickiej w Legionowie (Maria Konopnicka HS) in Legionowo, Poland… played middle blocker for three years.
NATIONAL TEAM AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Gryka has three years of experience in the Polish National Team program… two-year member of SMS PZPS Szczyrk, a club operated by the Sports Championship School of the Polish Volleyball Federation… selected Best Middle Blocker at the 2017 Youth Polish Championship and the 2018 Junior Polish Championship… took first place at the 2017 U18 and U20 Polish Championships… won first place at the 2018 Polish Championship… helped the Polish Junior National Team to a third-place finish at the 2018 European Junior Championship in Albania… helped the Polish U20 National Team to a sixth-place finish at the 2017 FIVB Women’s U20 World Championship in Mexico.

Aleksandra Gryka was born on Feb. 6, 2000, in Warsaw, Poland… parents are Malgorzata and Robert Gryka… has one brother named Bartlomiej… enjoys music and cooking as her favorite extracurricular activities and lists sushi and bigos as her favorite foods… names Turkish middle blocker Eda Erdem as her biggest sports inspiration… aspires to a career in professional volleyball and would like to open her own music studio one day… majoring in business administration.
