WOODING SO FAR THIS SEASON
Senior Joshua Wooding posted a pair of top 20 finishes in the 2006 fall season, including a tie for 11th at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge and a tie for 19th at the CordeValle Collegiate. In the latter event, he fired a career low-tying 65 in the final round. WOODING IN THE FALL OF 2006
Wooding had USC[apos]s second-lowest stroke average (73.18) as a 2006 junior and posted five top 20 finishes ... His best finish was a second place in Troy[apos]s season-opening Inverness Intercollegiate, where he had a 215 ... An injury at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge derailed his fall, but Wooding returned in the spring to post top 20 finishes in four of seven events ... His tie for 17th at the Taylor Made Intercollegiate featured a 68 and a 66 and his tie for 18th at the Ashworth Invitational featured a final-round 67 ... He again tied for 18th at the U.S. Intercollegiate by the Maple Fund and tied for 17th at the Pac-10 Championships ...
