USC Men's Golf Finishes Third At The Georgia Collegiate Invitational
October 26, 2025 | Men's Golf
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – USC Men's Golf wrapped up The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational on Sunday, finishing in third place as a team. After an opening round of 6-under-par and a 2-under-par team score on Saturday, the Trojans shot 1-over-par in the final round to end the tournament in third.
"I am proud of our team today," said Head Coach Mark Hankins. "We needed to really grind on a tough course and produce a solid score that moved up the leaderboard. We beat some good teams and were able to finish off a strong fall season."
Antonio Safa was the low individual for the Trojans, shooting rounds of 66-76-73 to finish tied for 14th. Safa's performance at the Georgia Collegiate closed out his last fall season, which included three top 20 finishes and a win at the Whirlwind Invitational.
"I knew that I had to be very patient out there," Safa said. "It's a course where you can make a lot of birdies, but at the same time, it's easy to make bogeys, so you have to stay disciplined. For me, it was just that, staying disciplined and not getting greedy out there."
Jaden Dumdumaya ended the tournament in 18th, shooting rounds of 70-72-73 to go 1-under-par across 54 holes. Dumdumaya concluded his fall season with four straight top 20 finishes.
Nicolas Dominguez and Luke Stock were both tied in 27th place at 1-over-par. Dominguez shot rounds of 72-73-72, grabbing three top 30 finishes this fall. Stock shot rounds of 74-71-72, securing his fourth-straight top 30 finish.
Jack Buchanan shot 77 on the final day of the tournament after producing rounds of 74 and 70 to start. He finished today in 40th.
This was the final tournament for the Trojans this fall. They will be back in action from Jan. 19-20 for the Copper Cup.
"This was my last fall tournament," Safa said. "It's kind of crazy, but, I'm just really proud of the whole team and myself. We've been a very competitive team, and we had a great fall season. Everyone knows what we need to work on individually to get stronger for the spring."
