THIS SEASON: A team captain, Alexander Lansill enters his fourth season at USC.
2020: In a season shortened and delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Lansill scored four goals as a junior... Scored in three games with one two-goal outing vs. Cal on Feb. 6... Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors and named to Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll... Also picked up MPSF All-Academic honors. A member of the 2020 NCAA Tournament roster.
2019: Lansill scored five goals as a sophomore... Scored in four games with a two-goal outing vs. Concordia... Earned MPSF All-Academic and ACWPC All-Academic honors..
2018: Lansill scored 13 goals as a true freshman... Scored in 10 games with three two-goal outings... Scored first career goal on Sept. 1... First two-goal game was vs. Concordia on Sept. 6... Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lansill was a 2017 All-League First Team selection and a three-time All-Conference Second Team selection in his four years at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco… Led his team to a 2018 DII Division Championship, the school’s first... Played four years of varsity water polo and was a team captain in 2016 and 2017… An honor student with over 150 community service hours… Played club for Sleepy Hollow Aquatics and San Francisco Water Polo.
PERSONAL: Lansill is majoring in business administration… Parents are Clay and Karen… Has one brother, Christopher... Cousin Will Belshe graduated summa cum laude from USC in 2018, and cousin Jack Belshe is currently a junior… Enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and being outdoors… Hopes to travel after graduation to Bora Bora, Switzerland and China… Born December 14, 1999.
