Dillon Klein is from Pacific Palisades, Calif., and comes from a long line of All-American athletes… grandfather Bob Klein played tight end at USC (1966-68) and was a member of the 1967 national championship team; and was a first-round pick by the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams where he played eight seasons (1969-76) and later with the San Diego Chargers (1977-80)… father Jimmy Klein played football (1989-90) and volleyball (1990-93) at Stanford… aunt Kristin Keefe was a four-time volleyball All-American (1988-91) at Stanford and was the 1991 National Player of the Year; later competed in the 1996 Olympics for the U.S.… uncle Adam Keefe played basketball (1988-92; All-American in 1992; set the school's career rebounding record) and volleyball (1990-91) at Stanford; was drafted by the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks (1992-94) and also played for the Utah Jazz (1994-2000) and Golden State Warriors(1996-99)… cousin James Keefe played forward on the Stanford basketball team… cousins Caitlin and Michaela Keefe were on the Stanford volleyball team (2016-19), which won three NCAA championships (2016, 2018-19)… majoring in business administration.
