2020: Fusaro’s stellar senior season included recognition as the 2020 Pac-12 Men’s Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete of theYear, CSCAA All American honors (1-meter, 3-meter) and CoSIDA Academic All-American At-Large third team honors … At the 2020 Zone E Championships, Fusaro locked in his third NCAA trip winning the 1-meter competition (777.50) and finishing third on 3-meter (790.15). The senior was looking to score individually for the first time since doing so on both sprinboards as a 2017 freshman … At Pac-12s, he was third on 3-meter with 404.30, fourth on 1-meter (369.95) and sixth on platform with 328.80 ...Fusaro, the men’s 2019-2020 diving team captain, recorded three wins against USC’s Bay Area rivals, giving him seven total for the season in dual-meet action, including three Pac-12 sweeps (ASU, Arizona and Stanford) on springboard … Posted wins on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at both the Trojan and Utah Diving Invitationals and was second on both boards at the Bruin Diving Invite … Fusaro was named USC’s men’s 2020 Pac-12 Tom Hansen Conference Medal Award Winner … Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll recipient.
2019: Fusaro’s promising 2019 junior season was cut short early in the spring semester due to injury. Fusaro won nine of the 10 events in which he competed as a junior, which included wins on 1-meter (729.45) and 3-meter (755.60) at the Trojan Diving Invitational, springboard wins at the Utah Diving Invitational, a 1-meter win (736.20) at the Bruin Diving Invitational and springboard sweeps against Arizona and Arizona State.
2018: Fusaro’s 2018 sophomore season was highlighted by his Pac-12 crown on 3-meter, where his 434.80 was good enough to dethrone teammate Dashiell Enos. Fusaro was also second on 1-meter (353.95) and 14th on platform (214.05) … He was a three-time finalist at the NCAA Zone E meet, finishing third on 3-meter (767.65), fifth on 1-meter (662.60) and 14th on platform (538.35) … He competed on both springboards at the NCAAs and just missed scoring on both, finishing 17th on 1-meter (328.50) and 18th on 3-meter (373.70) … He posted four dual meet wins on the season and won the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards at the Trojan Diving Invitational as well as the 3-meter at the Utah Diving Invitational … He earned CSCAA Scholar All-American first team honors and Pac-12 All-Academic second team honors.
2017: Fusaro earned 2017 Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year honors as a 2017 freshman. He was a two-time NCAA consolation finalist on 1-meter and 3-meter, finishing ninth (334.2) and 14th (374.90), respectively. He earned his debut NCAA Championships spot thanks to winning the 1-meter at the NCAA Zone E meet with 719.05 points. He was also seventh on 3-meter (688.65) … At the 2017 Pac-12 Championships, he was second on 3-meter (408.15) and was ninth on both 1-meter (284.20) and platform (269.85). He won six events during the regular season … He teamed with senior teammate Dashiell Enos to win a 2016 USA Winter National title on synchronized 3-meter with 740.67 points in December. He also reached the final on 3-meter final, taking 11th with 992.05, and was 11th in the prelims of 1-meter (320.45) … ... In the summer of 2017, he represented the U.S. at the 2017 World University Games, joining Enos to take fifth on synchronized 3-meter, less than four points from the podium … He won both 1-meter and 3-meter at the 2017 USA Diving National Preliminary Zone F Championships ... HIGH SCHOOL: Fusaro comes to USC after a strong junior career. He competed at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 26th on 3-meter (316.40) and reaching the final of synchronized 3-meter with teammate Dashiell Enos, finishing eighth (1008.27) ... He and Fusaro finished fourth at the 2016 USA Diving Synchro Nationals in April (679.17) ... Fusaro posted 2016 wins at the Arizona Diving Association Championships on 3-meter in both the senior and 16-18 group and at the 2016 USA Diving Junior Region 11 Championships 16-18 on 1-meter and 3-meter ... He was a finalist on 1-meter at the 2015 U.S. Nationals, taking seventh (317.55) and was a semifinalist on 3-meter, finishing 10th (358.60). He posted two thirds in the 16-18 division at the same meet ... At the 2014 U.S. Nationals, he was a finalist on 3-meter, finishing 10th (385.45).
