2025: Lyons will compete for playing time at tight end as a sophomore in 2025.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lyons, the four-star recruit, was touted as the No. 2 tight end in the nation by ESPN, No. 4 by Rivals, No. 9 by 247Sports and No. 13 by On3. He was rated as the No. 8 player in the state of California by Rivals, No. 9 by ESPN, No. 11 by 247Sports and No. 15 by On3. He was selected to participate in the 2023 Under Armour All-American game where he was honored as the All-American Bowl's Man of the Year for his high standard of excellence in community service and athletic distinction.
In 2022, he suffered a season-ending leg injury in the first game of his senior season. He earned placement on the 2022 Preseason MaxPreps California All-State Team.
As a junior, he had 42 receptions for 646 yards (15.4 avg.) and 7 TDs. Defensively, he had 12 tackles with 4 for loss and 1.5 sacks and 1 fumble recovery. On special teams, he punted 4 times for 110 yards (27.5 avg.) with a long of 37 yards and 6 kickoff returns for 50 yards (8.3 avg.) with a long of 12 yards. He was selected to the 2021 MaxPreps California All-State Second Team and the 2021 MaxPreps All San-Joaquin Section Football Team.

PERSONAL: He is majoring in Real Estate Development at USC.
Lyons graduated high school in 2022 and served a Mormon mission in Norway prior to arriving at USC.
