2024: Lantz was USC’s starting kicker in all 13 games as a redshirt senior in 2024. He scored 92 points, going a perfect 50-50 on extra points (100%) and 14-21 (66.7%) on field goals. His season and career long was a 54-yarder against Minnesota. This was also tied for the second-longest field goal in program history. He also recorded 76 kickoffs with 55 touchbacks, totalling 4897 yards.
He made all 3 PATs and went 2-of-3 on field goals versus LSU (making a 22 and 35 yarder). He made all 6 PATs versus Utah State and went 2-of-2 on field goals (making a 23 and 24 yarder). He made all 3 PATs and 1 field goal for 29 yards versus Michigan. He made all 5 PATs and 1 field goal for 41 yards versus Wisconsin. He made both PATs and went 1-of-2 on field goals, hitting a 54 yarder (his career and season-long) at Minnesota. He made all PATs versus Penn State and went 3-of-4 on field goals (making a 45, 47, and 39 yarder). He made all 4 PATs and went 0-of-1 on field goals versus Maryland. He made all 6 PATs versus Rutgers and all 3 PATs versus Washington, going 0-of-1 on field goals. He made all 4 PATs versus Nebraska, going 0-of-1 on field goals. He made the only PAT versus UCLA and went 4-of-4 on field goals (making a 19, 23, 22, and 30 yarder). GEORGIA SOUTHERN: As a redshirt senior in 2023, Lantz scored 114 points as Georgia Southern’s starting kicker, going 45-of-45 (100%) on extra points and 23-of-28 (82.1%) on field goals with a season-long of 48 through 13 games. His 23 made field goals set a school record. He also recorded 61 kickoffs with 43 touchbacks. He was named to the Pro Football Focus All-Sun Belt First Team, the College Football Network All-Sun Belt Second Team as both a kicker and kickoff specialist and the Phil Steele All-Sun Belt Fourth Team.As a redshirt junior in 2022, Lantz handled kickoff duties in all 13 games. He kicked off 78 times with 26 touchbacks. He enrolled at Georgia Southern in the summer of 2022.
MINNESOTA: Lantz did not play as a redshirt sophomore during the 2021 due to injury.
As a sophomore in 2020, he kicked off 7 times and redshirted the season.
As a freshman in 2019, he scored 71 points (second on the team), going 47-of-49 (95.9%) on extra points and 8-of-11 (72.7%) on field goals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lantz, a three-star recruit, was ranked the No. 7 kicker in the nation by the 247Sports Composite ranking. He was selected to participate in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl.
He made 119-of-123 PATs in 28 career games and made 21 career field goals, which included a career-long of 50 yards.
He attended the 2018 Kohl’s Kicking National Invitational Scholarship Camp, and he received five stars from Kohl’s Kicking Camp.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Georgia Southern in the spring of 2024. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Project Management from USC. He earned placement on Georgia Sothern’s 2022 and 2023 Honor Roll and was recognized on President’s List in the spring of 2023 for making a perfect 4.00 GPA. He was a member of the 2020 All-Big Ten Academic Team. His father, Jeffrey, was a linebacker at Murray State. He is married, and his wife’s name is Elise.
