CAREER: He has 10 catches for 61 yards (6.1 avg) in his career while appearing in 22 games (with 1 start).
2023: Wolfe will compete for action at tight end as a redshirt senior in 2023.
2022: Wolfe appeared in 3 games (Notre Dame, Pac-12 Championship versus Utah and Cotton Bowl versus Tulane) on special teams after returning from a summer injury as a redshirt junior in 2022.
2021: Wolfe was a key contributor again in the tight end corps as a redshirt sophomore in 2021. Overall in 2021 while appearing in 11 games (all but California) and starting once (versus San Jose State), he had 8 catches for 56 yards (7.0 avg). He missed the California game due to health and safety protocols. He missed 2021 spring practice while recuperating from a 2020 foot injury.
He caught 2 passes for 11 yards against San Jose State, had a 9-yard reception against Stanford, grabbed 2 passes for 6 yards versus Oregon State, and had 1 catch each against Arizona (3 yards), UCLA (9 yards) and BYU (18 yards).
2020: Wolfe was in the playing rotation often at tight end as a redshirt freshman in 2020. Overall in 2020 while appearing in 4 games (all but UCLA and Oregon), he had 2 catches for 5 yards (2.5 avg). Both catches came against Arizona State. He broke his left foot against Washington State and was sidelined the rest of the season.
2019: Wolfe, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2019 after graduating a semester early from high school, saw action in 4 games (Notre Dame, Arizona, Colorado, Arizona State) at tight end as a first-year freshman in 2019, but he did not catch a pass. He was able to redshirt. He was slowed for some of 2019 spring drills with a back injury.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2018 PrepStar All-American and Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 as a senior tight end at St. John Bosco in Bellflower (Calif.). He had 14 catches for 225 yards (16.1 avg) with 7 TDs in 2018.
As a junior in 2017, he had 9 receptions for 113 yards (12.6 avg) with 3 TDs.
As a 2016 sophomore, he had a 21-yard catch. Current Trojans Will Rose, Kobe Pepe and Matt Colombo also prepped at St. John Bosco.
He also played basketball at St. John Bosco.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development in the spring of 2022. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Communication Management with a 3.60 GPA. His father, Mark, played football at Western Michigan (1977-80). His brother, Jakob, was a tight end at Stony Brook (2014). His sister, Jacqueline, played volleyball at Hawaii Pacific (2015). His cousin, Ryan Gutierrez, was a safety at California (2001-04).
