2011: He was a reserve walk-on linebacker as a junior in 2011, but did not see any action. He joined the USC team in the fall of 2011.
Junior College: As a sophomore linebacker at El Camino Junior College in Torrance (Calif.) in 2010, he had 29 tackles, including 2.5 for losses, and an interception.
Western Michigan: He spent 2 years as a linebacker at Western Michigan, redshirting in 2008 as a freshman and then not seeing any action in 2009 as a redshirt freshman.
High School: He was a 2-time (2006-07) All-Eastern League second team linebacker and tight end at Cathedral Catholic High in San Diego (Calif.).
PERSONAL: He is a policy, planning and development major at USC.
