Kimberly 'Kimmie' Groff begins her first season of running cross country for USC.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Groff is a 2014 graduate of El Dorado High in Placentia, Calif...Had a 3-mile best of 17:56 in placing fourth at the Bronco Invitational on Sept. 7...Posted a time of 19:14 to place 10th at the 5K Clovis Invitational on Oct. 12...Has a best 5K cross country time of 19:09 in taking 17th at the 2012 Clovis Invitational...In track, she placed eighth as a senior in the Century League 1600m finals with a time of 5:18.77...She also placed seventh in the 3200m finals with a time of 11:30.94...she ran an 800m best of 2:28.55. Groff was first-team All-League in 2013 and 2014 and El Dorado reached the CIF cross country finals for the first time in 30 years. Was a California Scholarship Federation and National Honor Society member.

Kimmie was born on July 2, 1996 in Placentia, Calif...Her parents are Michael and Sharon Groff and she has one brother, Tim...Her mother also attended USC...In her spare time likes to watch movies and television shows...Her favorite food is sushi...Lists her favorite actor as Jim Carrey...Would like to travel to Italy someday...Is an undeclared major at USC and would like to eventually go to Medical School.
