         He played in every game during the 2010 season, batting .286 (72-for-252) with two home        runs, 23 RBI and four stolen bases...had 15 doubles and two triples...earned All-Pac-10        Conference honorable mention recognition...had an 11-game hitting streak snapped at        Washington State...had a 5-for-11 (.455) series at UCLA from May 14-16 with three runs        scored...recorded a season-high three RBI, adding a home run, on May 9 against Utah...hit        his first home run of the season on May 2 against No. 19 Arizona...went 4-for-6 on March 21        at Pacific...had a 2-for-5 day with a double, triple and two RBI on March 14 in a 12-2 win        at Hawai'i...had three hits on March 2 at Long Beach State...completed the Cal Poly series        with a 3-for-5 day on Feb. 21...opened the season on Feb. 19 at Cal Poly with a 3-for-4        performance with two doubles and one RBI.
2009
         In 53 starts out of 55 games (with 48 at second base), he batted .277 (53-for-191) with 12        doubles, three home runs, 22 RBI and 11-for-15 for stolen bases...recorded a double in        back-to-back games to close out the regular season (May 23 and 24) at California...went        3-for-5 with a double on May 10 at Cal State Northridge and recorded three hits again two        games later on May 15 against Stanford...had a 1-for-2 day with three RBI on April 21 at        Loyola Marymount...went 4-for-4 on March 25 in the first game of a doubleheader against        Brown...had a six-game hitting streak this season and recorded three-hit games on March 13        and 16 against Winthrop...on March 10 against No. 10 UC Irvine, he recorded two        doubles...had an inside-the-park home run on March 8 at Tulane...his first collegiate home        run came on Feb. 28 against Western Carolina, hitting a three-run shot to left at Dedeaux        Field...played for the Madison Mallards of the Northwest League during the summer...in 31        games with the Mallards, he batted .272 (34-for-125) with eight doubles, one triple, two        home runs, 15 RBI and seven stolen bases...had a .350 on-base percentage and .400 slugging        percentage for the Mallards.

         As a freshman, he made 34 starts in 42 games...batted .203 (24-for-118) with eight        doubles, two stolen bases and five RBI...went 2-for-5 on April 15 at No. 15 Cal State        Fullerton...put together a five-game hitting streak (April 8-15) with two games against No.        16/15 Cal State Fullerton and a three-game series against No. 5 Cal...recorded a double in        back-to-back games (April 11 and 12) against Cal...had a season-high eight-game hitting        streak from March 25-April 5...went 5-for-12 (.417) with two doubles and one RBI at No. 1        Arizona State (March 28-30)...recorded his first collegiate hit on Feb. 23 at Florida        International...for the summer, he played for the Madison Mallards of the Northwest        League...in 18 games with the Mallards, he batted .250 (15-for-60) with two doubles, two        stolen bases and eight RBI.
High School
         He was a four-year varsity letterwinner at St. Francis High in La Canada, Calif., under        coach Mike Solar...earned All-CIF Division III and Rivals.com all-state middle school        honors in his senior year after batting .476 with five home runs, 27 RBI and 13 stolen        bases...also named by the Glendale News Press and Pasadena Star News all-area team...hit        two home runs (a solo homerun and grand slam) in his final high school game...earned        All-CIF Division II second team and All-Mission League first team honors in his junior        season...led St. Francis to the 2006 CIF Division II Championship game where the team lost        to Foothill High (and current USC freshman pitcher Brad Boxberger)...named All-San Gabriel        Valley first team by the Pasadena Star News...batted .454 as a junior with a .522 on-base        percentage, along with 13 doubles, 27 RBI and 28 stolen bases...rated No. 19 in the        California Baseball Zone Southern California Top 50...member of the honor roll all four        years.
