In his first season at USC, Pinkerton made 16 starts in 32 games and batted .188 (12-for-64) with a home run and three RBI...recorded a double in back-to-back games on May 24 and 25 at Washington State...hit his first collegiate home run on May 4 against Washington...went 1-for-2 with two RBI on April 11 in a 17-1 win against No. 5 Cal...had a three-game hitting streak twice (March 5-9 and March 15-21)...went 1-for-3 in the season opener on Feb. 22 at Florida International.
