CAREER: He has hit 40-of-55 field goals and 138-of-143 PATs in his career. He is within range of the USC career records for field goals and PATs.
2014:Heidari returns for his fourth season as USC's placekicker as a senior in 2014.
2013:Heidari was USC's placekicker for a third season as a junior in 2013 (he also served as the emergency punter, but was not called upon in that role). Overall in 2013 while appearing in all 14 games, he hit 15-of-22 field goals and 49-of-52 PATs, plus he had 1 tackle. Of his 76 kickoffs in 2013, 22 pinned opponents within the 20-yard line and 19 were touchbacks. At Hawaii, he hit all 3 of his field goals (20 yards, a career-long 52 yards at the halftime gun to tie the fourth longest by a Trojan ever and the longest since Quin Rodriguez's 54-yarder in 1990 against Michigan State and 22 yards) and all 3 PATs and 4 of his 6 kickoffs pinned the Rainbow Warriors within the 20. Against Washington State, he hit his PAT but had a field goal blocked and missed another (and 1 of his 2 kickoffs was a touchback). He hit all 5 of his PATs against Boston College and 2 of his 5 kickoffs pinned BC within the 20 (2 others were touchbacks). He hit both of his PATs and 1 of his 2 field goal tries (a 25-yarder that proved to be the decisive points) against Utah State and he also had 2 touchbacks on his 4 kickoffs and another pinned USU within the 20. He hit 5 of his 6 PATs at Arizona State and 1 of his 6 kickoffs was a touchback (another was an onside kick recovered by USC). He hit a 45-yard field goal and all 5 of his PATs against Arizona, plus 3 of his 7 kickoffs pinned the Wildcats within the 20 (he also had a touchback). He hit a 22-yard field goal (he missed 2 others) and a PAT at Notre Dame and 1 of his 3 kickoffs was a touchback. He bounced back from a pair of misses the previous week and the possibility of losing his job by hitting a career-best 4 field goals (35, 38, 28 and 40 yards) in 5 tries against Utah, adding a PAT and kicking off 5 times (1 pinned the Utes within the 20 and another was a touchback. At Oregon State, he hit a 34-yard field goal and all 4 of his PATs, plus 1 of his 6 kickoffs pinned the Beavers within the 20. At California, he hit 8-of-9 PATs (he missed a field goal) and 4 of his 10 kickoffs pinned the Bears within the 20 (and he had 5 touchbacks). He hit a game-winning 47-yard field goal with 19 seconds to play--USC's first game-winning last second field goal since David Bell did so at UCLA in 2000--against Stanford (he also hit a 23-yarder, but missed his PAT try) and 1 of his 5 kickoffs pinned the Cardinal within the 20 (he also had a touchback) to earn Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors. At Colorado, he hit a 39-yard field goal and all 6 of his PATs, plus 2 of his 8 kickoffs pinned the Buffaloes within the 20 (he also had 3 touchbacks). Against UCLA, he hit both of his PATs and kicked off 3 times. Against Fresno State, he hit a 39-yard field goal and all 6 of his PATS, and 3 of his 6 kickoffs pinned the Bulldogs within the 20 (he also had a touchback).
2012: Heidari was USC's placekicker for his second year as a sophomore in 2012 and also spent part of the year handling kickoffs. Overall in 2012 while appearing in 11 games (all but Syracuse and Stanford), he hit 10-of-16 field goals and 39-of-41 PATs. Of his 41 kickoffs in 2012, 13 were touchbacks and 12 others pinned opponents within the 20-yard line. He made 2012 All-Pac-12 honorable mention. Against Hawaii, Heidari hit a 28-yard field goal, all 4 of his PATs and his kickoff pinned the Warriors within the 20, but he hurt his knee against Hawaii and had arthroscopic surgery, which sidelined him the next 2 games (Syracuse and Stanford). He returned against California and nailed both of his field goals (40 and 41 yards) and all 3 of his PATs. At Utah, he hit all 5 of his PATs and a 32-yard field goal (but missed from 40 and 44 yards) and also kicked off twice (both pinned the Utes within the 20). He hit all 3 of his PATs and was 1-of-2 on field goals (making a 23-yarder) at Washington. Against Colorado, he hit a 37-yard field goal and 5 of his 6 PATs as well as kicking off 5 times (pinning CU within the 20 once and getting 2 touchbacks). He hit all 4 of his PATs and had touchbacks on 5 of his 6 kickoffs at Arizona. Against Oregon, he hit a 39-yard field goal and all 6 of his PATs and 4 of his 9 kickoffs were touchbacks (another 2 pinned the Ducks within the 20. Against Arizona State, he hit all 5 of his PATs and a 26-yard field goal and had a touchback among his 7 kickoffs (another pinned the Sun Devils within the 20). At UCLA, he hit 2-of-3 PATS but missed both of his field goals (1 was blocked) and 3 of his 5 kickoffs pinned the Bruins within the 20. Against Notre Dame, Heidheari hit both of his field goal attempts (39 and 21 yards), his PAT and 1 of his 4 kickoffs pinned the Irish within the 20. Against Georgia Tech, he hit a PAT but missed a 38-yard field goal and 1 of his 2 kickoffs pinned the Yellow Jackets within the 20, while the other was a touchback.
2011: Heidari, who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2011 after graduating a semester early from high school, stepped in as USC's placekicker as a freshman in 2011 and did an outstanding job. Overall while appearing in all 12 games, he hit 15-of 17 field goals and all 50 of his PAT tries, plus he made 4 tackles. His 88.2% field goal percentage was third in the nation among kickers with at least 10 made field goals (and the best among freshmen kickers). He made 9 consecutive field goals before a miss at Notre Dame and was 4-of-5 on field goals of at least 40 yards in 2011 (with a 50-yarder). Of his 76 kickoffs in 2011, 25 pinned opponents within the 20-yard line (including 10 touchbacks). He was one of 20 semifinalists for the 2011 Groza Award. He made the 2011 CBSSports.com, CollegeFootball News.com and Phil Steele Freshman All-American first team and YahooSports.com Freshman All-American second team. He made 2011 SI.com All-American honorable mention. He made the 2011 All-Pac-12 first team. He made the 2011 ESPN.com, CBSSports.com and Phil Steele All-Pac-12 first team. He hit his only PAT attempt against Minnesota, then hit a 47-yard field goal (he had another 47-yarder negated by penalty) and both of his PATs against Utah. Against Syracuse, he hit all 5 of his PATs, was 1-of-2 on field goals (he made a 26-yarder) and 3 of his 7 kickoffs pinned the Orange within the 20. At Arizona State, he hit all 3 of his field goals (41, 29 and 33 yards) and his only PAT and he also pinned the Sun Devils within the 20 on 3 of his 6 kickoffs (with 2 touchbacks). Against Arizona, he hit both of his field goal tries (46 and 31 yards) and all 6 of his PATs and also pinned the Wildcats within the 20 on 3 of his 8 kickoffs (with 2 touchbacks). At California, he hit all 3 of his field goals (39, 29 and 23 yards) and all 3 of his PATs and also pinned the Bears twice within the 20 (with a touchback) on his 7 kickoffs. At Notre Dame, he hit all 4 of his PATs, made a 25-yard field goal (he missed a 32-yarder despite kicking with a bruised ankle) and 1 of his 4 kickoffs pinned the Irish within the 20. Against Stanford, he hit both of his field goals (22 and 50 yards, the longest by a Trojan since Quin Rodriguez's 54-yarder against Michigan State in the 1990 Sun Bowl) and all 6 of his PATs, plus 2 of his 7 kickoffs pinned the Cardinal within the 20. At Colorado, he hit all 6 of his PATs and 4 of his 7 kickoffs pinned the Buffaloes within the 20 (with 2 touchbacks). Against Washington, he hit all 5 of his PATs and a 30-yard field goal and 2 of his 7 kickoffs pinned the Huskies within the 20. He hit his only field goal try (a 26-yarder) and all 5 of his PATS, plus 1 of his 7 kickoffs was a touchback and he made a tackle at Oregon. Against UCLA, he hit all 6 of his PATs and 4 of his 8 kickoffs pinned the Bruins within the 20 (with 2 touchbacks).
HIGH SCHOOL: His 2010 honors included UnderArmour All-American, Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and Cal-Hi Sports All-State third team as a 2010 senior placekicker and punter at Stockdale High in Bakersfield (Calif.). He kicked 8 field goals and 17 PATS, had touchbacks on 53 of his 65 kickoffs and averaged 38.4 yards punting in 2010. As a 2009 junior, 59 of his 70 kickoffs were touchbacks and 20 of his punts pinned opponents within the 20-yard line (with a long of 63 yards) as he made the All-Southwest Yosemite League second team.
