THIS SEASON: Ethan Chung, a talented Southern California prep star, is a 2021 Trojan freshman who will battle for a starting job ... Tied for third at the Tucker Amateur in late October, finishing with an 11-under 205 (68-71-66).

HIGH SCHOOL: Chung, from Murrieta, Calif., posted two 2019 wins at the Corey Pavin Invitational in June and at the TTC Invitational at Bear Creek G.C. in May to go with four other top 10 finishes, earning him the Toyota Tour Cup 2019 Player of the Year … His 2018 was highlighted by a pair of fifths at the Kyle Stanley Championships and at the AJGA Junior at Big Sky … In 2017, he won the NCGA Junior Tour Fall Series VI and VIII as well as the Justin Rose Junior All-Star Invitational. He posted a pair of top 5s at the IMG Academy Junior World Championship, including a fourth in 2016.
