Junior / 2022-23
• As a junior in 2023, Ffrench started two tournaments finishing 64th at the Southwestern Invitational and 84th at the Arizona N.I.T.
Sophomore / 2021-22
• Played and started in eight events as a 2022 sophomore, finishing with a stroke average of 75.17 with six rounds of par or better, four under par and two rounds in the 60s.
• Posted a season-best tie for 14th at the John Burns Intercollegiate at 3-under 213 (66-70-77), his first round a collegiate personal best. Also tied for 31st at the Southwestern Invitational ... Fired a 69 in the first round of the Arizona N.I.T.
Freshman / 2020-21
• A member of the 2021 All-Pac-12 Newcomer Team, posting a stroke average of 72.68 with 12 rounds of par or better and nine rounds under par.
• As a freshman, he was the lone Trojan to start and play in all nine of USC’s tournaments,
• Posted one top 5 finish - a tie for fifth at the Amer Ari Invitational - and four more top 26 or better. At the Amer Ari, Ffrench finished a career-best 7-under 209 (70-69-70), his middle round a season-best effort. His next best finish was a tie for 20th at the 2021 Pac-12 Championships at 4-under 284 (70-73-70-71). He also tied for 23rd at the Lamkin San Diego Classic at 5-over 221 (73-76-72), tied for 24th at the N.I.T. at 2-over 212 (70-70-72) and tied for 26th in his collegiate debut at the Southwestern Invitational at 10-over 226 (70-74-82).
• During the fall semester, he tied for 14th at the Tucker Amateur in late October, finishing at 7-under 209 (70-69-70) ... He led a handful of Trojans at the Golfweek Moorpark Amateur in early November, tying for 20th at par 216 (71-67-78) ... In December, he reached the match play portion of the Maridoe Amateur Championship, falling in the first round.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Ffrench, from San Diego and a graduate of Classical Academy High, capped off his junior amateur career with a win at the 2020 Corey Pavin Invitational in the Toyota Tour Cup at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta at 6-under 138 (69-69), winning with a playoff birdie on the first hole.
• He tied for 19th at the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship in February of 2020 at 3-under 213 (73-73-67) and tied for 26th at the Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship. At the 2020 SCGA Amateur, he tied for 31st at 2-over 282 (71-69-73-69).
• Ffrench had a trio of top 5 finishes in 2019, including a third at the ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior, a fourth at the Hunter Mahan Junior Championship and a fifth at the Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship. He earned 2019 San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team honors.
• His 2018 featured a trio of top 10s led by a fifth at the Taylor Made adidas Golf Boys Junior All-Star. He joined his brother Colin as 2015 Drive Chip and Putt Championship champions who competed at Augusta.
