THIS SEASON: Kari Jensen enters her fourth season at USC.
2020: In a season cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, Jensen scored one goal as a junior as USC was 12-1 overall when competition was cancelled... Earned MPSF All-Academic Team and ACWPC All-Academic honors.
2019: Jensen scored six goals as a sophomore... Scored in four different games with two multiple-goal outings... First career two-goal game came vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Jan. 26... A member of USC’s MPSF and NCAA Tournament rosters... Earned MPSF All-Academic Team honors.
2018: Jensen scored one goal as a true freshman... First career goal came vs. San Diego State on Feb. 10.
HIGH SCHOOL: Jensen was a two-time all-league first seam selection and won two North Coast Section championships at Campolindo High in Moraga, Calif.... Received all-league honorable mention as a freshman and second team honors as a sophomore… Won the Northern California Championship as a junior… Also swam all four years… Played club for Diablo and 680 Water Polo.
PERSONAL: Jensen is majoring in health and human sciences… Parents are Kirk and Kristie Jensen… Father Kirk played water polo at Stanford… Has three siblings, Tor, Annika and Soren… Older sister Annika won two NCAA championships at USC… Older brother Tor played water polo at UC Santa Barbara... Enjoys spending time with friends and family in her free time… Favorite foods include steak, pasta and cookies… Lists her favorite movie as Lord of the Rings and favorite TV shows as Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds SVU… She hopes to one day visit Greece, Bora Bora and the Cayman Islands… Born on Jan. 22, 1999.
