LOS ANGELES – The USC women's soccer team picked up a point on the road against the defending WCC champions Pepperdine on Sunday afternoon, getting a first-half goal from Lily Biddulph in the 1-1 draw.

Biddulph scored in the 17^th minute as the Trojans took a 1-0 advantage into the break, but Pepperdine was awarded a penalty in the 52^nd minute and Julia Quinonez converted.

Josie Biehl, who was making her first collegiate start after holding No. 3 Duke scoreless in the second half on Wednesday, recorded six saves in the game, including a couple game-savers later in the second half.

Eleanor Morrissey, the Trojans lone goalscorer in the opener last week, set up Biddulph for the first-half strike, receiving a long pass forward from Savannah Leifried and then crossing it in to the charging Biddulph, who kneed the ball home. Leifried also assisted Morrissey's goal on Wednesday, giving her two assists in her first two collegiate games.
