USC Men’s Golf Ready for the Big Ten Championship
April 30, 2026 | Men's Golf
The Trojans aim for their first conference title since 2018.
NORTH PLAINS, Ore. — Coming off back-to-back wins at the Cowboy Classic and the Western Intercollegiate, the USC Men's Golf Team begins the postseason at the 2026 Big Ten Championships, held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore. from May 1-3.
USC and the 17 other Big Ten teams will play 54 holes at the par-72, 7,015-yard track, with each round beginning at 9:30 a.m. PT. Sunday's final round will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network starting at 2:30 p.m. PT. All pertinent schedule information can be found on the men's golf team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
The Trojans will go for their 20th conference title and their first since joining the Big Ten in 2024-25. USC's last conference team and individual title came in 2018, when the Trojans won the Pac-12 Conference title and Justin Suh was the individual champion. Heading into this week, the Trojans have four wins on the season, which leads the Big Ten. Another win would tie the program's single-season win total of five set in 2008 and 2017.
Winners of their last two tournaments, the Trojans are the only Big Ten team to carry a win streak into the conference championship. Earlier this month at the Western Intercollegiate, sophomore Jack Buchanan won his first collegiate title at 10-under par and the Trojans won the team title at 13-under par. At the beginning of April, the Trojans won the Cowboy Classic at 26-under par, while Buchanan and Luke Stock tied for third at 10-under par.
Last season, the Trojans placed 11th out of 18 teams in the program's first Big Ten Championship appearance. Antonio Safa led the Trojans by tying for 23rd. Buchanan and Dumdumaya are the only returners from last season's lineup.

HEAR FROM THE LINEUP:
Junior Nicolas Dominguez: "The win at the Western Intercollegiate felt good. It felt good to just be part of the team. Jack and Jayden played great. I kind of got off to a bumpy start, but I figured out a way to play good golf and I'm going to try to do the same this week."
Sophomore Jack Buchanan: "I've been playing well. I've put in a lot of work at school on the range, working on a few things with my swing, hitting the ball well and putting well. All of which is allowed me to score quite well the last two tournaments — both of the last two tournaments I've finished 10 under. I'm hoping that the momentum is going to carry into this week."
Sophomore Jaden Dumdumaya: "Our attitude is to keep on playing. We're doing a really good job as a team to be consistent and continue fighting at the highest level. If we can continue doing what we're doing, it could lead to possibly a Big Ten Championship."
Graduate Senior Luke Stock: "Everyone is so determined to keep on playing well and get better. It's a contagious environment and it's only made me better this year, so I'm hoping to take this forward into the next few weeks."
Freshman Raghav Gulati: "Right now I'm just trying to work on my attitude on the golf course a little bit. I feel like I can get a bit stressed in big situations. I'm just trying to calm myself down, trust the process and remind myself that I know how to play and trust my abilities."
Senior Antonio Safa: "Something that Coach mentions is we can get too ahead of ourselves, so we need to find out how we can take a step back and just stay in the moment and stay present. And I think that's key, especially for this postseason tournament."
