No. 20 USC Men's Tennis Delivers 4-0 Road Sweep Over Washington

Trojans win doubles point and three straight singles matches.
SEATTLE — The No. 20 USC men's tennis team delivered a dominant road performance on Friday afternoon, sweeping Washington 4-0 at Quillian Tennis Stadium.
The Trojans (17-6 overall, 9-3 Big Ten) controlled the match from the start, securing the doubles point before rolling through singles to clinch their second straight shutout victory.
USC jumped ahead early by claiming two of three doubles matches. Andrin Casanova and Jack McCarthy set the tone on court one with a 6-3 win over Brett Pearson and Stephane Kamendje. After Washington picked up a win on court three, Connor Church and Branko Djuric sealed the doubles point with a 6-4 victory on court two, giving USC a 1-0 lead.Â
The Trojans carried that momentum into singles, where they made quick work of the Huskies. Jack McCarthy was first off the court, cruising to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Hyeonseok Seo on court four to extend USC's lead to 2-0. Connor
Church followed moments later with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 victory against Nikola Plavsic on court five, putting the Trojans one point away from the clinch.
Branko Djuric delivered the deciding point on court one, defeating Stephane Kamendje 6-1, 6-4 to secure the 4-0 sweep.Â
Several matches went unfinished, with USC holding strong positions across the remaining courts, including leads from Max Exsted and Andrin Casanova.
With the win, USC improves to 17-6 on the season and continues to build momentum heading into the postseason. The Trojans will wrap up their road trip on Sunday with an 11 a.m. matchup at Oregon.
