- Despite a brief early Menlo lead, USC rolled to a 25-11 victory in the third to sew up the sweep. Connell and Klein each had three kills while Roberts, Tomkinson, and Zamprogno each added two. USC hit .281 but far out-did the Oak attack, which registered a negative .111 hitting rate with six kills (10e) on 35 swings. Sprague—who entered the set with three digs—racked up nine in the third to finish with 12 and secured his double-double performance.
