USC falls to 24-2 on the season with the loss, while Oregon State moves to 18-5.
The Beavers jumped ahead with runs in each of the first four innings, taking a 9-0 lead before USC got on the board. The Trojans scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth, getting a three-run homer from Dean Carpentier, but that was it for the USC offense.
Oregon State would tack on a three-run homer of its own in the ninth to cap the scoring.
Adam Troy helped slow down the Beaver offense with a scoreless fifth inning, followed by 2.0 scoreless relief innings from Ben Cushnie. Garren Rizzo also worked a scoreless eighth inning.
