The Women of Troy won all four matches this weekend at Merle Norman Stadium.

LOS ANGELES – No. 4 USC Beach Volleyball (8-2) returns to Merle Norman Stadium on Tuesday, March 3, taking on the CSUN Matadors (0-5) and the No. 15 Stetson Hatters (7-1). USC is currently undefeated at home, going 4-0 last weekend in the Battle for Los Angeles.

LAST TIME OUT
The Women of Troy hosted four matches as part of the Battle for Los Angeles, facing CSUN and Pepperdine on Friday, then No. 3 Cal Poly and Concordia Irvine on Saturday. USC finished the weekend 4-0, taking down all four opponents. The Cardinal and Gold defeated the Matadors, Waves and Golden Eagles 5-0 while defeating the No. 3 Mustangs 4-1. The duo of Kyra Zaengle and Calinda Kok dominated in the No. 5 spot, going 4-0 and winning all of their matches in two sets. Ashley Pater and Kennedy Coakley also won all of their matches this weekend in the No. 2 spot.

HOME SWEET HOME
Since the opening of Merle Norman Stadium, USC has found a ton of success playing at home. The Women of Troy have an overall record of 99-11 when playing on their home sand.

AVCA TOP 20
In the 10 games USC has played this season, seven of the teams have been ranked in the AVCA Top 20 Coaches Poll. This trend will continue on Tuesday as the Trojans take on the No. 15 Hatters. USC is currently 5-2 against nationally ranked opponents this season.

STARTING OFF STRONG
Three freshmen have earned spots in the lineup so far this season – Sarah Wood, Kyra Zaengle and Bella Satterwhite. All three first-year players have secured their first career wins during these first 10 games. Wood is currently 9-1 on the season, playing in the No. 1 and 2 spots, Zaengle is 9-0 playing in the fifth flight, and Satterwhite is 1-0, playing her sole match in the No. 4 spot.
