Trojans scheduled to face UNLV on Nov. 2 at T-Mobile Arena in nationally televised opening night showcase
LOS ANGELES — USC women's basketball will open the 2026-27 season on a national stage, facing UNLV at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of the prestigious Naismith Hall of Fame Series Opening Night on Monday, Nov. 2.
The four-game showcase, announced by Position Sports in partnership with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, marks the fourth consecutive year the Hall of Fame Series has been held in Las Vegas following a near sellout in 2025. All four contests, including two men's and two women's games, will be nationally televised across TNT Sports' networks and platforms, with additional details to be announced.
On the women's side, the Trojans will take on hometown UNLV Lady Rebels basketball in what is expected to mark the return of JuJu Watkins, the 2024-25 consensus National Player of the Year, following her recovery from a knee injury. The second women's match up will feature Arizona Wildcats women's basketball against Stanford Cardinal women's basketball.
USC returns to the Hall of Fame Series after opening the 2023-24 campaign with an 83-74 victory over Ohio State in its last appearance at the event.
The Hall of Fame Series, owned and operated by Position Sports, is a collection of high-profile nonconference events featuring elite collegiate programs competing in premier venues across the United States and internationally. Previous stops have included Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, San Antonio and Toronto.
Tickets for the Las Vegas event will go on sale in late April. Fans can visit HOFSeries.com for ticket information, hotel details and event updates.
