ATLANTA - USC women's basketball signee Saniyah Hall has been named a 2026 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Girls' High School Player of the Year Semifinalist, the Atlanta Tipoff club announced Tuesday. Hall is one of 10 semifinalists from across the country to be named to a semifinalist for the prestigious award.
Over the weekend, Hall was named the Cleveland Sports Female High School Athlete of the Year, coming on the heels of her securing a spot in the prestigious McDonald's All-American Game.
Ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the nation, the soon-to-be Trojan surpassed 2,000 career high school points earlier this season while competing at SPIRE Academy.
Competing on the international stage at just 16 years old, Hall led Team USA in scoring at the FIBA U19 World Cup, setting a program record with an average of 19.9 points per game while ranking among the team's top performers in rebounds, steals and overall impact. She teamed up with current Trojan Jazzy Davidson to help anchor a USA squad that captured the world championship.
Hall was also named the 2025 MaxPreps National Junior of the Year after a dominant season at Montverde Academy in Florida. She earned Naismith Trophy First Team All-America honors while averaging 20.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per game, leading the Eagles to a 26-2 record and a berth in the Chipotle National Championship game.
