The Trojans will take on Wisconsin on the road for the first time since 1946.

LOS ANGELES — USC Men's Basketball (14-5, 3-5 Big Ten) will face the Wisconsin Badgers (14-5, 6-2 Big Ten) at the Kohl Center on Sunday, Jan. 25.

LAST TIME OUT
USC Men's Basketball dropped 74-68 to Northwestern on Wednesday, Jan. 21. The Trojans led as much as seven in the first half and only committed six turnovers. Overall, USC gave up 44 points in the paint and couldn't come back on top by the buzzer.

Jordan Marsh scored a team-high 19 points, all of which came in the second half. His fastbreak layup with five minutes to go cut the deficit to one, and he went 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. Ezra Ausar posted 17 points and three assists, and Chad Baker-Mazara also recorded double-digit figures.

SCOUTING THE BADGERS

Wisconsin enters Sunday's matchup on a five-game win streak, standing at sixth in the Big Ten. Its best win comes against previously undefeated No. 2/3 Michigan on Jan. 10. It was the school's first win against a No. 2 team since 2019.
In the Badgers' thriller win, the team overcame a 14-point deficit and shot 15-for-33 from downtown, the most for a Big Ten team on the road this season. Guards John Blackwell and Nick Boyd led the way in scoring, combining for 48 points.
Boyd currently registers a team-high 19.4 points per game, ranking fifth in the Big Ten for average scoring. He's logged over 10 points in all 19 contests this season.
Blackwell follows right behind with 18.5 points. He boasts 20+ point performances on 15 occasions throughout his career.
Wisconsin recently crushed Penn State 98-71 on Jan. 22. The Badgers shot nearly 51% from the field and received 13 points and 10 rebounds from Nolan Winter, his ninth double-double.
The top rebounder for Wisconsin, Winter pulls down 8.8 boards per game, which ranks fifth in the Big Ten.
The Badgers' 82.6 points per game is the second-highest in the conference.
Wisconsin excels at the line, shooting 80.6% from the stripe so far, the second-highest in the Big Ten.
Head Coach Greg Gard is in his 11th season leading this program. The finalist for the 2022 Naismith Coach of the Year has led the Badgers to back-to-back conference championship appearances. Before this season, Gard owned a 213-117 (.645) career record. He was the Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2020 and 2022.

COFIE TIME
Jacob Cofie is one of two Trojans who have started all 19 games for the Trojans. Over the last five games, he has been crucial for the Trojans on defense, averaging 8.4 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals. He also contributed his fourth double-double of the season against No. 5 Purdue, contributing a career-high 15 rebounds.
