*The No. 21 Trojans travel to Champaign, Ill. to challenge the No. 23 Fighting Illini on Saturday, Sept. 27 for an early 11 a.m. CT kickoff.
*USC and Illinois have only played 13 times (USC is 11-2).

*Maiava even flashed shades of former Heisman winner Caleb Williams, using his escape maneuvers to evade the Spartan defenders' grasps.
