A native of Lithuania, Raulusaityte is signed on to join the Trojan front court.
LOS ANGELES — USC women's basketball has added some extra international experienced with the signing of Lithuanian Gerda Raulusaityte to join the Women of Troy for the coming season, head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has announced. The 6-foot-3 post player is one of the youngest members of Lithuania's National Team.
"Gerda is an important and exciting addition to our team," Gottlieb said of Raulusaityte. "A dynamic post player with a plethora of international experience, Gerda will bring size, versatility, toughness and skill to our front line. We are proud that she made the Lithuanian senior national team for EuroBasket, and we know that her unique experiences playing in Europe will add a new dimension to our team. Gerda has been a joy to get to know. I have no doubt that being a part of the Trojan Family will make her feel as if she has a home away from home. We can't wait to welcome Gerda to Los Angeles and our campus."
Raulusaityte recently represented her country at the 2025 EuroBasket competition in Greece, having also competed for Lithuania at the 2025 and 2023 EuroBasket Qualifiers. She also was a regular at the youth level in international competition, having averaged 12.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for Lithuania at the 2024 FIBA U20 EuroBasket as well as 10.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game at the 2023 FIA U19 World Cup. In 2022, she put up 9.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game at the 2022 FIBA U18 European Championship, where Lithuania finished in first place. And in 2019, she was a member of Lithuania's silver medal squad at the FIBA U16 European Championship.
Raulusaityte also has competed for Lithuanian club teams LCC Tarputautinis Universitetas Klaipeda and Kibirkstis. She was named the 2024-25 MVP of the Lithuanian Women's Basketball League.
Raulusaityte is one of six newcomers currently signed on to join the Trojans in 2025-26, teaming up with incoming transfers Kara Dunn, Londynn Jones, Dayana Mendes and Yakiyah Milton along with true freshman guard Jazzy Davidson, a Naismith High School All-American who was recently named as the nation's top-ranked high school player. USC is coming off a 2024-25 season that saw the Trojans win the Big Ten regular-season championship, earn a No. 1 seed into the NCAA Tournament and reach a second straight Elite Eight to finish with a 31-4 overall record.
