Andrew Lamb Named Big Ten Player of the Week

LOS ANGELES – After leading the USC baseball team to a 3-1 week and including a series win over No. 14 UCLA, Andrew Lamb was named the Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday (May 5).
Lamb led the Trojans with 8 hits (8-for-18) on the week as USC picked up a win over CSUN on Tuesday and took two-of-three from UCLA. Lamb hit three homers, two doubles and one triple, with a team high seven RBI and seven runs scored.
Over the weekend, Lamb homered in both wins against UCLA, opening the scoring for USC as the Trojans came back for the series victory after losing the opener. On Tuesday, he finished a single short of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored. –
Lamb Is currently on a seven game hitting streak and leads the Trojans with a .371 batting average.
