Wayne Guymon Named Vice President & General Manager of Learfield’s USC Sports Properties

25-year industry veteran to lead business development and partnership solutions for the Trojans
LOS ANGELES – Learfield and USC Athletics announced today that 25-year industry veteran Wayne Guymon has been named the Vice President & General Manager of the new locally based team, Learfield's USC Sports Properties. As part of a 15-year partnership announced in June, Guymon and Learfield's USC Sports Properties will handle multimedia rights, revenue generation, fan engagement and name, image and likeness (NIL) solutions on behalf of the Trojans when Learfield begins managing the partnership on July 1, 2026.

Guymon brings extensive experience leading sales and partnerships efforts in various parts of the sports industry to Learfield's USC Sports Properties, most recently spending 13 years at Fox Sports San Diego and FanDuel Sports Network, where for nearly the last nine years he served as the Vice President of National Sales & Partnerships in FanDuel Sports Network's West Coast/Los Angeles office.

Before joining Fox Sports San Diego in 2012, Guymon split five years with the NBA's Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder between the roles of National Sales Director and Director of Business Development. His career in sports began in the college ranks, getting his start as Marketing Coordinator at Stanford Athletics before moving on to roles as Assistant Athletic Director at San Diego State Athletics and Associate General Manager of ISP Sports' (now Learfield's) Huskies Sports Properties at the University of Washington.

As General Manager of a team of 15-plus business development, partnership solutions and NIL experts, Guymon will serve as the primary Learfield liaison related to the university's comprehensive athletics multimedia rights agreement and corporate partner platform. He will work closely with Cohen and the entire athletics administration on all aspects of the relationship between Learfield and USC Athletics, including year-round sponsorship sales at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Guymon earned his bachelor's degree from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University in 2000.
