CROSSExamination
- The Trojans are 71-19 all-time at home and are 1-1 at Dignity Health Sports Park
- The Trojans will play this season in two different venues, as their first five home games will be at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., while their final two home games will be at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. USC will play these games offsite as its new stadium is under construction. The brand-new Rawlinson Stadium is set to open in 2025.
- The Trojans claimed the 2023 Pac-12 regular season title and Pac-12 Tournament Title for the first time since 2019. USC has won back-to-back Pac-12 regular season titles (shared with Stanford in 2022).
- The Trojans are 0-1 all-time against Temple as they first met in USC's inaugural season back in 2013.
- Heading into the season senior midfielder Claudia Shevitz was selected to the ILWomen Preseason All-American Third Team list. This is her second list to appear on as she was selected to the USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American Honorable Mention list alongside teams Isabelle Vitale and Catherine Lord.
- Junior defender Alexis Niblock is the latest Trojan to get honored by the conference, as she was selected as the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week last week. The defender had two career highs against Towson, as she picked up five ground balls and forced four turnovers in the 11-5 victory.
- USC is currently ranked No. 16 in the ILWomen/IWLCA week three poll.
- The Trojans return two Pac-12 award winners to their roster, as senior Claudia Shevitz was named the 2023 Midfielder of the Year, and Kait Devir was named as the 2023 Co-Goalkeeper of the Year. Head coach Lindsey Munday was also named the 2023 Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
- Shelby Tilton recorded her 100th career point against Hofstra after a four-goal game. The senior captain has five hat tricks in the seven games played this year. Tilton also ranks tenth in USC history for goals at 88.
- Against Army, Ella Heaney recorded her 100th career goal and now has 114 goals in her career, which is the fifth most in program history.
- Isabelle Vitale now ranks second in program history with 89 career assists after her game against Villanova, where she tallied four assists.
- Danielle Carson is four ground balls off a tie for 10th place in USC history (currently ranks 12th), as she has 81 for her career.
- Freshman Anna Regan is shooting up the standings in Trojan history for draw controls, as she has 57 in seven games, which is 12th in program history. She only needs eight more to put her in the top ten (65).
