USC Baseball Falls to No. 5 TCU in Finale at Globe Life

ARLINGTON, Texas – The USC baseball team dropped its final game at Globe Life Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday afternoon, falling 9-5 to No. 5 TCU.
The Trojans fall to 2-9 with the loss, while TCU remains unbeaten, moving to 12-0.
Both offenses got going early, with USC taking a 2-1 advantage in the first and TCU pouring in five runs in the top of the second. The Trojans came back with two in the bottom half of the inning to make it 6-4 after two.
Michael Ebner came in and settled things down on the mound for USC, tossing 3.1 innings and giving up just one unearned run. Will Watson tossed two more effective relief innings, but a pair of unearned runs came across in the seventh to make it a four-run game. The Trojan bats were unable to come up with a rally down the stretch.

The Trojans return to Southern California to play at Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday and then host Arizona for their Pac-12 opening series starting on Friday. The series against the Wildcats will be played at Great Park in Irvine and will be broadcast on Pac-12+ via USCTrojans.com.
