No. 5 USC Men's Tennis Falls to Baylor on the Road

The Trojans won one match in doubles as junior Peter Makk and Lodewijk Weststrate improve to 4-1 in dual matches
WACO, Texas -Â No. 5 USC Men's Tennis (4-2) suffers its second loss in a row, as it fell on the road to Baylor (8-1) 4-0 on Monday, Feb. 12 at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.Â

The Trojans could only muster one win against the Bears, as the doubles squad of Peter Makk and Lodewijk Weststrate won 6-4 at the No. 1 doubles spot. USC would struggle in all the other places, as Baylor won all the singles matches in two sets before the match was called at the clinching point.Â

Next, the Trojans will attend the ITA National Team Indoor Championship, which will be held on Friday, Feb. 16, in New York City.Â
