The Trojan diving contingent is led by head diving coach Hongping Li, who is entering his 26th season at the helm of the program. This season Li is joined by USC great Doerte Lindner, an Olympic medalist and member of USC's 1997 NCAA title winning team.Â
Returning divers Laurent Gosselin-Paradis, Shangfei Wang, Robert Gref and Grace Lee are coming off 2023-24 NCAA berths. Gosselin-Paradis also claimed his third career Pac-12 individual title last year, taking first on platform.
The team added several newcomers to the roster, including 2024 Olympians Kate Miller (Canada) and Moritz Wesemann (Germany). The pair were also named to the Big Ten Conference's 2024-2025 Men's and Women's Swimmers and Divers to Watch List in late September. Miller and Wesemann are joined by 2024 Olympic Trials qualifier Gabby Filzen and Emi Machida.
