Standout guard from Ohio ranks as a top 40 national prospect.
LOS ANGELES – Jerry Easter II, a 6-3 guard from Toledo, Ohio has committed to enroll at USC and play for the Trojans next season, head coach Eric Musselman announced today (Nov. 25). Prepping at Link Academy, Easter is the second ranked player in the state of Missouri by 247Sports.
"We couldn't be more excited to add a dynamic guard like Jerry to our USC program," said USC Musselman. "He is a proven winner that has shown great traits that we look for in our Trojan players. Our coaching staff cannot wait to coach Jerry here at USC."
Easter, a four-star guard and top 40 national prospect in the 2025 class is a high-volume scoring guard who plays with a physical, attacking style. At 6-foot-3, with a 6-foot-7 wingspan, his solid positional size, length and strength make him a force on the floor.
The guard played his first two seasons of prep ball at Toledo Emmanuel Christian, where he averaged 32.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Easter later transferred to La Lumiere (Indiana) for his junior year. Now a senior at Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, Easter looks to hone his skills before joining Troy as a freshman for 2025-26.
Off the court, Easter has an active YouTube channel where he posts vlogs and other basketball related content.
