USC Sweeps Final Day of Action at Trojan Diving Invitational

Trojan newcomers Kate Miller and Moritz Wesemann sweep Sunday events.
LOS ANGELES – USC newcomers Moritz Wesemann and Kate Miller swept the final day of competition at the Trojan Diving Invitational to cap off a successful weekend of action at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
The Women of Troy finished first and second, respectively in the platform competition, as Miller led a 1-2 USC finish. Miller captured the tower event with 588.25 points (293.95 coming from prelims). Grace Lee was second with 455.85 points (220.45 from prelims).
On springboard, Wesemann captured the 1-meter event with 812.15 points (416.05 from prelims). Wesemann's 18.90 degree of difficulty was nearly 1 whole point above the second-place finisher, who tallied 728.15 points.

Saturday saw Trojan Robert Gref finish second on platform, tallying 642.00 points (359.75 coming from prelims). On 3-meter, Miller scored 627.40 total points to finish runner-up in the event.
USC won the women's team event as Maddie Huitt, Grace Lee and Kate Miller combined to tally 314.65 points. The Trojans outscored both Northern Colorado and UNLV.

On Friday, Miller and Wesemann also swept the events, with Miller winning on 1-meter and Wesemann claiming the 3-meter event. On 1-meter, Miller tallied 572.60 points to take the event, while Wesemann recorded 833.55 total points on 3-meter to secure the win.
