The two transfers will join the Women of Troy and have eligibility to play this fall
LOS ANGELES – The USC women's volleyball team has signed transfer setter Emily Fitzner (San Diego, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) from Indiana and libero Ellie Snook (West Linn, Ore./West Linn HS) from Portland State, head coach Brad Keller announced on Tuesday, June 27.
Â
Both graduate transfers are immediately eligible to play for the Women of Troy this fall. Fitzner joined the Trojans ahead of the team's summer trip to Brazil and will also play on the sand in spring 2024 for the six-time national champion USC beach volleyball program.
Â
"The addition of these two grad transfers is paramount to our team's success this fall," said Keller. "They each bring an incredible wealth of on-court experience and are seasoned veterans in the locker room. We look forward to their impact both on and off the court. Being able to bring in graduate transfers of this caliber is a gamechanger and we are excited to see what Emily and Ellie can do for us this season."
Â

Fitzner joins current San Diegan Trojans Lindsey Miller and Gala Trubint but is the first USC player to have prepped at Torrey Pines HS.
Â
"Emily is a fantastic setter with great hands, high-level volleyball IQ, and is a leader among her peers," said Keller. "She is a Southern California native and we are happy she is back home. We expect her to have an impact on both our play on the court and our team culture off the court. Having had her join us for the team's trip to Brazil in June was unbelievably valuable and we're looking forward to seeing her continue to grow with us this fall."

We see her fitting in to both our passing and defensive plans and hope that she can contribute to the team's success in all facets of the game. I think our fans and our current players will embrace all that she brings on and off the court."
