USC Women's Volleyball Reveals 2026 Schedule
May 28, 2026 | Women's Volleyball
The Trojans open the season at the State Farm Showcase and will play a full 17-match round-robin Big Ten schedule
LOS ANGELES – The USC women's volleyball team revealed its complete 2026 schedule on Thursday, May 28.
Â
As previously announced, the Women of Troy will open the fall at the State Farm Volleyball Showcase in Sioux Falls, S.D. There, USC takes on Arizona State (Aug. 29) and Creighton (Aug. 30) at the Sanford Pentagon.
Â
The Trojans will play a total of 10 nonconference matches. In week two, USC will play twice on the road and heads to Texas (Sept. 2) for a match that is part of the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge Week. Then the Trojans head south on the interstate to take on San Diego (Sept. 6) at Jenny Craig Pavilion.
Â
USC will play its last six non-league contests at home and welcomes a trio of former Pac-12 conference-mates for week three at Galen Center. The Trojans host Colorado—now a member of the Big XII—for their home opener on Sept. 11 and then takes on Arizona which is also now a member of the Big XII on Sept. 12. USC closes the weekend with a matchup against current Pac-12 member Oregon State on Sept. 13.
Â
In the final week of nonconference play, the Trojans will host UC Davis (Sept. 18), Pepperdine (Sept. 19), and UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 20).
Â
The Women of Troy will face each Big Ten opponent just once in a true round-robin schedule this fall for a total of 17 regular-season league matches. The Trojans start Big Ten play on the road at Northwestern (Sept. 24) and at Illinois (Sept. 26). USC's first home Big Ten matches are Oct. 2 and 4 when Galen Center hosts Michigan and Michigan State respectively. The Trojans will play alternating weekends at home and on the road through their entire Big Ten schedule.
Â
USC heads to Indiana to take on Purdue (Oct. 9) and Indiana (Oct. 11) and then returns home to host Ohio State (Oct. 16) and Penn State (Oct. 17) for its only set of league matches on back-to-back nights. The Trojans' last full weekend in October takes them on the road for a pair of matches at Iowa (Oct. 22) and at Nebraska (Oct. 24).Â
Â
The Trojans will host Wisconsin (Oct. 30) and Minnesota (Nov. 1) to move into the final month of the regular season. USC's last regular-season road trip takes the Women of Troy across the country to face Maryland (Nov. 5) and Rutgers (Oct. 7). USC then hosts Oregon (Nov. 12) and will have Washington at Galen Center (Nov. 14) for Senior Day. The Trojans wrap the regular season at crosstown rival UCLA (Nov. 17).
Â
In a first-of-its-kind tournament, 14 teams will converge on Fishers, Ind., for the inaugural Big Ten Volleyball Tournament. Based on final regular-season standings, teams will be seeded for a five-day event set to be held at the Fishers Event Center with every match scheduled for air on Big Ten Network. Friday and Saturday (Nov. 20-21) will feature play-in matches with quarterfinals on Nov. 22, semifinals on Nov. 24, and the championship match set for Nov. 25, the night before Thanksgiving.
Â
Last fall, USC finished the regular season tied for third in the Big Ten. The Trojans were 25-7 overall with a 15-5 record in conference and were awarded one of 33 at-large berths—and a hosting bid—into the 2025 NCAA tournament. USC made its fourth straight appearance in the tourney under head coach Brad Keller (41st all-time) and moved into the second round for the fourth consecutive year with a 3-0 sweep of Princeton. The Women of Troy were eliminated from postseason play in a hard-fought five-set loss to Cal Poly in the second round.
