
No. 17 USC Rowing Heads to New Jersey for Ivy League Invitation

LOS ANGELES – The USC women's rowing team travels to Princeton, New Jersey this weekend (April 15-16) to compete in the Ivy League Invitational.
This regatta will have three racing sessions across two days. Two sessions will occur on Saturday (April 15) and one session on Sunday (April 16). The Trojans will be racing in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, and Varsity Four categories. This is the first year the Trojans have will be participating in this regatta.
The USC Varsity Eight will kick off the weekend as they hit the water first to compete Saturday (April 15) at 11:12 a.m. EST in heat 2. Racing in the Varsity Eight category will be Princeton, Virginia, Columbia, Brown, Rutgers, Oregon State, Cornell, Pennsylvania and Dartmouth. Competing in heat 2 will be Brown in lane 1, USC in lane 2 and Rutgers in lane 3.
The USC Second Varsity Eight will compete next at 11:48 a.m. EST in heat 2. The Women of Troy will race against Columbia, Princeton, Virginia, Brown, Rutgers, Dartmouth, Oregon State, Cornell and Pennsylvania. Competing in heat 2 will be Brown in lane 1, USC in lane 2 and Rutgers in lane 3.
The Trojan's Varsity Four will race at 12:24 p.m. EST heat 2 of the. They compete against Princeton, Columbia, Virginia, Rutgers, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, Pennsylvania and Oregon State. In heat 2 USC will be in lane 1, Rutgers in lane 2 and Brown in lane 3. This race will wrap up the first session of the regatta.
To start the second session, The Women of Troy's Varsity Eight will hit the water first in heat 2 at 3:12 p.m. EST. USC will compete against the same boats as in session 2. In heat 2 USC will be in lane 1, Princeton in lane 2 and Dartmouth in lane 3.
Next to race will be the Trojan's Second Varsity Eight at 3:48 p.m. EST in heat 2. The Women of Troy will compete against the same boats as session 2. In heat 2, will be Dartmouth in Lane 1, USC in lane 2 and Princeton in lane 3.
To finish the day of rowing will be USC's Varsity Four at 4:24 p.m. EST in heat 2. The Trojan's will also compete against the same boats as in session one. In heat 2, Princeton will be in lane 1, Dartmouth will be in lane 2 and the Women of Troy will be in lane 3.
